Quick Guide for Zenbo Developer Site

Welcome to the Zenbo developer world!

The process to generate an App or content on Zenbo includes several steps:

(A) Register a Zenbo Developer account

By filling several questions in the application form, you would become a Zenbo developer shortly and have the right to submit your app/content onto Zenbo store.

(B) Apply and unique ID for your APP or content

A developer could apply as many APPs as you like. Each ID would be assigned to one Application or to one piece of digital content. Please enter the "Console" menu, and press “New an App” to get a unique ID.

After getting the ID, you will be able to move forward to next step for each APP in the "APP Management" table. The listed next action would be under the “function” tab:

The status explanation for App ID is as following:

(C) Download SDK and use tools to finish your App development

There are three ways you could adopt to develop App or content: (under "SDK & Tools" menu)

1. Download Zenbo SDK and program your APP as an traditional android one;

2. Use the friendly puzzle-liked App Builder and produce a Zenbo exclusive APP;

3. Use Story Editor and generate an interactive eBook or video;

By the way, you can use DDE Editor (Dialog Development Environment) to generate voice interactive materials and combine them into your App and content.

(D) Apply technical review

After finishing App or content development, you can upload the works through App Management. Select the corresponding APP ID in the list table, draw down the list under "Function" tag, and select "Tech Verify". You will be guided to a file upload process and if everything goes smoothly, ASUS staff would verify your app and respond to you accordingly.

Be noted that you should embed related file information (say, correct packagename, version, DDE information, and etc.) in order to pass the technical review.

(E) Publish your APP/content on Zenbo Store

After finishing technical review, the status of the APP ID would turn "Tech Review(Approval)". We recommend you could prepare the App description and several demo graphs before submit the publishing request.

Once you would like to publish the App or content, select the corresponding APP ID in the list table, draw down the list under "Function" tag, and select "Publish".

        You will be guided to several pages sequentially in order to fill in your bank account (for the first time), company profile and product description. After this process, the status of this App turns "Under Biz Review", and ASUS staffs would verify the content for the last time and make the product to be online.

        After publishing approval, the status goes "Publish" and you would get an email notification as well.
